Abstract: This report discusses the training held by CSIR-Food Research Institute, Accra, to train selected Agriculture Colleges tutors on value addition to under the auspices of Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MOFA). The program took place from 20th of July, 2020 to 24th of July, 2020 at the Apesewa Conference Hall, CSIR-Food Research Institute, Accra. The training covered both lectures and practical session in the areas of Basic Food processing Fruit juice processing, Food packaging, Food safety, Good hygienic practice and Good manufacturing practices, Business principles on Food product development and Processing of Chips& flour from root crops and processing of dried fruits and vegetables. Competent facilitators with expertise in the respective areas of food packaging, processing and marketing technology handled the theory and practical aspect to meet the needs of trainees. Qualitative evaluation of the training events was done by the trainees at the end of the training
