dc.description.abstractThe objective of this training was to build the capacity of actors along the postharvest value chain of grains and legumes on management of aflatoxin in grains, targeting Agriculture Extension Officers. Especially agriculture officers and SMEs in the Savannah region of Ghana. This will help them disseminate and train farmers on the management of Aflatoxin. The workshop provided an opportunity for participants to have both theory and practical sessions where trainees where taken through rapid test detection using Aflasafe kits. Control measures such as appropriate storage, drying which can avoid or reduce the formation of these toxins were elaborated on to help trainees in their understanding of some basic postharvest management practicesen
